More about Abraham Lincoln's Death.
On the night of April 14, 1865 a man named John Wilkes Booth heard that the president was attending a performance at Ford's Theater. Lincoln was sitting in a special room and Booth shot him in the back of the head. He escaped, but was soon later caught.

What did the north want, and what did the south want?
The north was strongly against slavery, and the south believed that there should be slavery. The southerners who wanted slavery were called abolitionists. The north side won what they wished, and that has changed our country today.
Who was Abraham Lincoln, and what did he do for our country?
Abraham Lincoln was the United State's 16th president. He was against slavery and he had a huge part in the Civil War. Sadly, he died on April 14, 1865 after getting shot in the head while attending a performance at Ford's Theater.
